Transform hair care judgments from anxiety into trackable decisions with photos, trends and rationale.
By uploading scalp photos and hair care product images, users can obtain non-diagnostic hair status indicators, interpretable care timelines, historical trends and product reliability judgments, and clearly see uncertainty, privacy processing and manual approval boundaries.
- 01Establish a photo baselineUpload scalp photos, confirm non-diagnostic boundaries and photo retention policies, and generate your first hair status analysis.
- 02Care plan reviewGenerate a care timeline based on the analysis results and wait for manual review to pass.
- 03Trend retest trackingContinuously save multiple analysis records to compare hair quantity and score changes.

Data use boundary
The scalp photos you upload may contain facial, scalp texture, and other biometric information; major concerns and care habits may reveal health-related status. The system only uses this data to generate hair status reports, care timelines and trend records within the site. If the photo quality is insufficient, the system will clearly fail and prompt you to retake, and will not replace it with the placeholder result. Current 10 role review additions: product_image, scalp photos, OCR/package text, care practices, user distress, export reports, audit logs, and model metadata should all be treated as sensitive or conditionally sensitive data. ;The deletion policy must cover original images, thumbnails, crops, facial regions, embeddings/features, temporary copies of models, export files, rollback snapshots, and logs; the deletion status must be auditable. ;All data access, export, delete, rollback and approval must be isolated by site_id + workspace_id + project_id. ; Before uploading, a short prompt must be used to explain that the photo may contain facial/biometric features, who is visible, differences in retention options, which derived indicators are retained after deletion, and the original image is not included in the export by default. ; Logs and audit payloads must not inadvertently save identifiable images or complete sensitive free text; if they must be saved, they should be desensitized and the retention policy documented.
Data retention
Users can choose to "delete the original image after analysis and retain only indicators", "retain for 30 days for trend review" or "retain before manual deletion" in the archive. Deletion and retention status must be written to the photo record, such as encryption_status, image_retention_policy, face_deleted_at, or deleted_at. The exported report does not include the original facial areas unless the user actively chooses to include the original image.
Human responsibility and rollback
HairTruth Hair Truth Assistant provides hair care decision-making information based on photos and user input, not a medical diagnosis, treatment plan, prescription, online consultation or doctor's opinion. If you experience sudden, massive hair loss, scalp pain, infection, patchy hair loss, pregnancy or medication-related issues, please consult a qualified medical professional.
Rollback only means restoring the report version, care plan version, approval status or product scan record in this site to the previous state, and retaining audit records; since this product is not connected to hospitals, e-commerce, prescriptions, payment or other external production systems, rollback will not and cannot undo actions in any external system.
